Travel Purpose: business
Positive: The value was great and the closeness to where our family lives. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms made a huge difference since we had our mother and a niece or nephew stay with us each night. When we ran out of gas they refilled it within a few hours. I was able to get a warm shower while in the Philippines that I had not expected. My mother-in-law absolutely loved the fish tank and the kids loved being able to pick blackberries from the tree in the front yard. The upper deck was a hit with the kids and the carport was great for storing the rental car and my niece's bike overnight. I also loved having a working refrigerator/freezer and got to get my regular dose of diet ice cream bars... okay, maybe they're not the best for my diet but I love them. Also, being able to take ice cold drinks over to the family house each day was very helpful for us. When we do come back we will be looking to stay here again.
Negative: Too many gaps for bugs for a house that nice. One door had a two centimeter gap at the top of the door to the outside. We also had ants in the downstairs bathroom - the tiny ones but it was still annoying. The internet for the TV went out more than I would have liked.
Summary: Far better than I had ever expected to find close to our family.
