Carrick Lodge is a modern Scandinavian style lodge with glorious sea views, along with the stunning sunrise from the front balconey. Set within the Trewince Manor estate this property is only some five minutes drive from the centre of Portscatho with its popular selection of facilities including butchers, well stocked convenience store with a bakery attached, restaurant, art gallery and well known pub The Plume of Feathers. There are a number of sandy beaches in the vicinity and the southwest coast path is close by for those who enjoy walking. From the parking space for two cars steps lead to the decked area, with outside furniture, which catches the sun for most of the day and has views out to sea over Towan Beach. Patio doors take you into the lounge/diner with kitchen at one end. This has excellent sea views and good levels of equipment including satellite TV, video, DVD, comfortable settees, dining table and chairs for 6, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave oven. A door leads to an internal hallway with an airing cupboard containing a washing machine. There are 3 bedrooms which sleeps 6 in comfortable style with family bathroom with shower, WC and wash hand basin, the double bedroom with ensuite shower and WC, and the two twin bedrooms. Carrick Lodge has full night storage heating backed up with panel heaters if required. Guests at Carrick Lodge also have full complimentary access to the swimming pool complex including a jacuzzi and sauna on the site at Trewince Manor. Please check with Trewince Manor prior to your arrival that the facilities are in use to be able to book your time slot through their reception.
