Summary: The condo was a great size and set up for our family. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies and games, etc. A few things keep me from giving it 5 stars: - we did not have access to a full-size fridge. The one in the unit was broken and a mini fridge was set up nearby. This was very inconvenient for a family of 5, especially since we brought lots of our own groceries with us. We were not given any advanced notice and when we contacted the property manager they just said there were plans to replace it. We never had any other contact about it. Advanced notice of this would have been helpful and appreciated. - there was a separate ice machine in the unit but it was not working. We notified the management upon check-in and they thanked us for letting them know but did not make any attempt to fix it. Since the full size fridge and freezer were broken we had no real way to make or store any ice. - small housekeeping things like confetti on the floor from a previous group, a dirty sink in the bathroom, sheets missing from one of the bunk beds - the resort is described as being walking distance to the beach. You can definitely walk there, but it isn’t easy and we didn’t attempt it with our family. Thankfully the shuttle service was an option that worked well for us. We would opt for a different property in Orange Beach next time for this reason, specifically. The pools are very nice - lots of seating, very fun for a variety of ages. Our family had fun.
