What We Love
A quintessential Midcoast Maine experience awaits at this historic home, wonderfully situated in a quiet neighborhood that's an easy stroll from the best of Bath. Downtown's shops and restaurants, the waterfront, the local farmers market - they're all mere steps from you here.
This 19th-century home is the perfect base for exploring the Midcoast, with two of Maine's best beaches (Reid State Park and Popham Beach State Park) within a 15-mile drive. A Maine state park pass, beach chairs, a cooler, and towels are even provided for your summer beach days. The beautiful little city of Bath is also close to Brunswick (eight miles), Freeport (18 miles), and Portland's renowned culinary scene (35 miles).
The house is full of interesting history - built in 1890 as a single-family home, with the west wing originally serving as the barn to quarter horses. Today, it's the perfect space to gather with friends and family, offering an eat-in kitchen, a formal dining room, and a living room stocked with books, games, and a smart TV. The front patio is ideal for family get-togethers as well, featuring a gas grill and outdoor seating for both dining and lounging.
In the evenings, you'll find all of the bedrooms upstairs on the second floor. A Pack 'N Play, high-speed WiFi, and a home laundry room are provided as well.
