Capri is a completely remodeled “barefoot luxury” beach house. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, it takes a short 700 foot walk to arrive at quiet and private Breñas Beach. The home itself has a regulation “pickle-ball” court and an infinity edge pool with a sun deck ideal for toddlers. Amenities were considered to make Capri an enclave for slow living. Slow living includes cooking with friends and family as well as playing board and card games, assembling puzzles and watching time go by. Also includes snorkeling gear, Morey boogie boards & flashlights. Plenty of comfortable nooks are there for reading, napping and recharging in the presence of our local flora and fauna. Besides these, all the normal amenities are there for the enjoyment of our guests. The house is perfect for families and friends looking to get away! Capri offers a full size backup generator with automatic transfer switch & water tank in case of an interruption in electrical or water service. COVID-19 NOTES: 1) PRE-ARRIVAL COVID TESTING: Travelers entering any of the Island’s three open airports are required to fill out a Travel Declaration Form through the Puerto Rico Health Department’s online portal, get a PCR molecular COVID-19 test (nasal or throat swab) no more than 72 hours prior to visiting the Island and show proof of a negative result. This could include pools, tennis courts, and children parks. Please reach out to us prior to booking if you would like to know the status of common areas. 3) MASKS: Masks are mandatory when in public and in all common areas. Please be ready to travel with and bring masks for your stay. 4) CLEANING PROCEDURES: We have updated our cleaning procedures to include industry best practices in response to COVID-19. We are using disinfectant cleaning products on all surfaces and are programming a 24 hour gap between check-outs and check-ins. Our cleaning staff wears PPE during the entire cleaning and disinfecting process. LIVING AREA: Enter Capri to an open concept living area with a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast island, a comfortable 10-person local sourced wood dining table and a quiet living room in a screened in porch area. Ample windows allow the fresh trade wind’s breeze and natural light to pour into our home. The dining room leads to the terrace which then leads to the glorious infinity edge swimming pool. Pictures do not make this arrangement justice. This is where you will spend the majority of your time at Capri – enjoying the time go by under the sun by day and stars by night. Adding to the magic of this vacation retreat are the regulation pickle-ball court which allows for fun competition and exercise and the deck under the almond tree which is perfect for reading or quiet conversation or for “al fresco” cooking! The wonderful newly planted garden will add to your sense of peace of your stay. Capri’s first floor includes a complete bedroom as well as a full laundry with washer & dryer and a flat screen TV. Stairs from the first floor lead to the 2nd floor where, besides sleeping quarters, is a family room with large flat screen TV, a small refrigerator and a comfortable sofa and butterfly chairs for watching movies or other entertainment. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Capri can sleep up to 10 guests in five bedrooms. Four bedrooms are located in the second level of the villa. The additional bedroom is on the ground floor. The second floor master bedroom includes a king sized bed and a comfortable private bathroom. Second floor mini master includes a queen sized bed and a private bathroom. Second floor also includes a bedroom with a queen size bed and the fifth bedroom with two single beds. These two rooms share a full bathroom. First floor master bedroom includes a queen size bed and a full private bathroom. This bathroom has an additional door for use by the guests when on the first floor, however, a fifth 1/2 bathroom is also available on the back of the house. KITCHENS: Capri's kitchen is modern, spacious, sleek and perfectly designed to cook with family in mind. Its fully equipped kitchen is located besides the dining table and opens up to the terrace. It's "open style" windows in the kitchen are ideal for hosting guests/family between the inside of the kitchen and the terrace. LOCATION: This spacious beach house is located in Breñas. This is one of the best private beach communities in Puerto Rico. Well known among locals for its excellent location, and world-class beach. Dorado is an easy 40-minute drive from the airport and has a wide array of dining options nearby. There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are our top picks: Golf at the Dorado Beach Ritz Carlton resort. Tee times can be booked online. Explore the local culinary scene with everything from local Puerto Rican food to excellent Italian and Asian options. Road trip to the Cerro Gordo or Dorado public beaches. Both of these are sandy and very long, great for early beachcombing or for a change of scenery Shop at the Barceloneta Outlets, a 30 min drive away with great shopping and dining options. Spend a day in Old San Juan, a 30 min drive away and the oldest city in all of the US. AMENITIES: West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. To name a few these amenities include a set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, garbage bags, rolls of paper towel, rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, dish soap, dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay. HOUSE RULES: Check-in time is at 4:00 pm Check-out time is at 11:00 am NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated. NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep noise levels down during these hours out of respect to the neighbors. The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights. All bookings are contingent on signing a short term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first. Maximum occupancy of 10 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors. Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property. Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged. Do not hang towels from the balcony or windows. A $100 fine may be applied if you break this rule.
