Positive: The room itself was genuinely spacious, with plenty of storage and a fantastic view. It felt bright and airy, and I really appreciated having a kettle in the room – a nice touch that made it easy to enjoy a cup of tea. Overall, it had everything you might need for a short stay.
Negative: Unfortunately, the mattress was extremely thin, and as soon as you lie down, you can feel the springs or some kind of structure underneath – it’s really uncomfortable. Honestly, even a dog at home would probably have a softer bed. It’s also a shame that there was no cup provided in the room, especially as there was a kettle; having to go to the shared kitchen (which was in quite a state, with rubbish and mess everywhere) was really inconvenient. The towels, although new and seemingly clean, left a lot of white residue on the skin, probably because they hadn’t been properly rinsed or used much before. This made them quite unpleasant to use, especially on your face or more sensitive areas. Finally, I was disappointed by the communication. I messaged several times on the day of my arrival asking for check-in details, since you’re supposed to receive them 24 hours before, but I either didn’t get a reply or received generic responses that didn’t actually answer my questions. This really let the experience down.
