Positive: Incredible (but rural) property. Fantastic renovation of a truly ancient building. Absolutely top notch.
Negative: The staff basically ignored us right up to the point when we were leaving and they needed to collect our "City tax" (local tax). We were only there one night, I'm sure if we'd been there longer it would have been a different experience. We arrived late and didn't have enough bedding for the kids and had to scrounge some by looking around the place in the dark. The room was a double with a fold out sofa for the kids and we had booked for four. Although I texted about the bedding we never heard a peep.
Summary: Incredible building and would be lovely for a longer stay, but very cold staff (to us). Great pool.
