Come to Camp Happy Hours a boat access only Classic Adirondack Camp that sits on the west shore of Lake Placid. This 3BR 2BA house can accommodate up to 10 guests and pets are considered (with a fee). Enjoy lake front living and dazzling sunsets in this classic Adirondack style camp steps away from the water's edge; a location well suited away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to Main Street for shopping, dining, music in the park or ice cream. At Camp Happy Hours you can unplug from everyday stress and get back to what really matters in life; nature-family-friends while making memories that will last a lifetime. Our guests can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and even jumping off our floating dock. Or just sit back and take in the amazing views and fresh air! You can watch boats go by from the Adirondack Chairs on the dock or on the covered front porch. Catch a sunset from the dock or during a cruise around the lake on the pontoon boat. Then enjoy s'mores by the fire pit at night with the family. The more adventurous can enjoy water skiing, wake boarding, and other water sports on one of the cleanest lakes in America. There are also many hiking trails right from the property to hike the old SOA trail or summit Whiteface from our doorstep. There are only 200 houses on the lake and Camp Happy Hours has all the amenities one could ask for: a brand new Ipe dock that can accommodate multiple boats (one boat is included with rental- a 2016 Pontoon Boat), nice sandy beach for wading or smaller children to comfortably play in the water, a yard area for games like washers or horseshoes. We also have an original lean-to on the property that offers a fun place to play games, read or even "camp" if you are adventurous. Access to the camp is boat access only but a pontoon boat and parking space is provided with your stay at the Lake Placid Marina. It is a five minute boat ride to the camp which offers you a majestic and serene vacation for all!
