* Just to let our visitors know we were not hit by Hurricane Dorian or receive any damage at all.* The Calypso Hill Experience: Situated on the northern shore of Great Exuma, in the Hartswell settlement, Calypso Hill is a stunning 14-acre waterfront estate that puts you right in the center of one of the most beautiful National Parks in the Bahamas, Moriah Harbour. The crystal clear water, unspoiled beaches, marine life and natural beauty are simply out of this world. Calypso Hill is the only vacation rental on the island complete with a private launching beach, and a beautiful marina . In just minutes, you can cruise through Moriah Harbour, frolic on the shores of The Cut Beach, or test your skills in the bonefishing flats past the Little Exuma bridge. There are countless extraordinary beaches, sandbanks and coves in the area yet it is also easy to boat right into Georgetown or Chat N’ Chill on Stocking Island. The home at Calypso Hill has a commanding view of Moriah Harbour and the surrounding area. Several large seating areas, both indoor and outdoor, allow families or groups to comfortably socialize yet it’s design also provides plenty of privacy. The home consists of a main residence and two detached cottages. The master suite cottage overlooks the blue waters of the harbour and has a king bed and spacious bathroom and walk-in closet. The family cottage includes two rooms and a shared bathroom; one room with a queen bed, and another with bunk beds that sleep up to 6 children. The main residence has one bedroom with a queen bed and another with a day bed/trundle bed combo. The kitchen and home are well appointed with everything one might need to feel right at home. Two paddleboards, two kayaks are also complimentary and available for use. The house comes with a small whaler, perfect to explore the surrounding beaches. Calypso Hill is a beautiful place to stay for anyone; couples, large families, corporate retreats, or a group of friends. The home and surrounding areas lend themselves to beautiful moments and adventures together. A day on the water in the Exumas is a day you’ll remember forever. Pull a boat right up to your private dock, throw dinner on the grill, and head back out for more exploration in the morning. That is truly living the good life.
