Summary: The loft was perfect for me teenage son and me. It was clean, sunny and actually very quiet given that it sits on a relatively less trafficked street and faces an interior courtyard. The loft is a reasonable walk (assuming you like to walk) and an easy bike or metro ride to everything you might want to see in Paris. Its located in what seems like a real neighborhood where locals actually live. You'll find abundant cafes, bars and other services outside the front door. The 7 flights of stairs might be a challenge to some, but the pay off is the fresh air, quiet and light at that altitude. Sophie (who runs a decent restaurants on the ground floor) and the owner were both responsive and friendly too.
