2 Bedroom Cottage in Cadillac
This newly renovated lakefront cottage offers an affordable family vacation on a quiet private lake (Stone Ledge Lake) near Cadillac. This all-sports lake is large enough for skiing and jet skis, but small enough (no public access) to limit the number of large boats. The lake offers good fishing for large-mouth bass, northern pike and panfish. A rowboat and paddleboat are included. We're proud to report that our family of Loons has returned this year and offer great viewing and relaxing sounds. We also see the bald eagles regularly. The lake at the cottage has a sandy bottom and is good for swimming. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the lakeside deck and reconnect with your family and friends around the lakeside campfire (wood is provided).
The cottage is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is fully furnished. You just need to bring your own food. Guests are expected to clean the cottage when leaving and leave it in the same condition that they find it.
The cottage is close to Cadillac with convenient shopping, restaurants and various tourists attractions. There are 10 golf courses within 25 miles and 4 separate casinos within 75 miles of the cottage. Lake Michigan beaches are only 50 miles away (Manistee) and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Leelanau Pennisula, Traverse City and Petoskey areas make convenient day trips.
The Cadillac area also offers a vast network of paved and unpaved trails for biking and hiking. We are located in the Manistee National Forest for hiking and hunting adventures. We are close to world-class trout streams and rivers. Great lakes charter fishing is also a popular choice.
