The Roost has two sleeping areas, large front porch and cozy back porch
Come to the heart of the Hill Country in Fredericksburg...a place you can unwind from the city life. The fresh air and the star gazing are magnificent. See the wildlife of deer, wild birds, squirrels and our 20 pastured chickens. We are only 10 minutes from downtown, but yet you feel like you’re in another world.
Fire up the Keurig coffee maker to brew your morning coffee or tea. Please note that beginning August 2025 we will no longer be serving fresh breakfast.
The 'Roost' is a ~450 square ft. cabin with a king-sized bed downstairs and two twin-sized beds in the loft area. The cabin sleeps four. The cabin has a Kitchenette which includes a fridge and microwave and small bar that seats three. A screened-in porch with table is perfect for eating, playing cards or just relaxing. It also has a flat screen TV.

Summary: We came for a girls weekend. The roost is very cute and cozy. Breakfast was amazing. Jason was easy to get ahold of and quick to respond. And oh man the stars, so beautiful and the mornings were very peaceful. Close enough to town to enjoy the nightlife, but far enough to enjoy the peacefulness of the country. 10 out of 10 woukd Definitely recommend!
