In the evening you can sit with a sundowner and watch as the sun gets lower in the sky reflecting its glowing colours onto the sea. Outside is a hot shower for those coming off the beach after a swim and also for washing wetsuits, together with storage for surfboards. Upstairs you can sit on the balcony and look out to sea. There are walks to the south leading to the famous surfing and kite-surfing beach at Watergate Bay and to the north along National Trust headlands to the iconic Bedruthan Steps. A five minute walk takes you to the village with its professional surf school, shops, cafes, restaurants and the popular Merrymoor Inn with beer garden overlooking the beach. Further afield you will find - The Eden project, Lanhydrock House and gardens, and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
