4 Bedroom Cabin in Lenoir
Are you looking for solitude? A perfectly private cabin getaway tucked in the mountains? Do you need time to refresh yourself, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature?
Then look no farther than Mountain Getaway. This luxuriously appointed cabin with four master suites, located just a short drive from either Blowing Rock or Lenoir in the gated Timber Rock community, is tucked back into the woods on 5 private acres.
The main level features soaring 20' ceilings and an open living room and kitchen area. The living room has a large leather sectional sofa facing a floor-to-ceiling wood burning fireplace and a wall-to-wall stone hearth. There is also a large flat screen HDTV on an adjustable mount so the entire party can easily enjoy watching. The kitchen area is fully equipped with everything you'll need to feed the whole group, and you'll enjoy meal preparation with the stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, artfully accented by lovely stained glass fixtures. The dining nook off the kitchen will seat eight comfortably, with room for three at the kitchen counter and two more at the kitchen island. There is also a half bath on this level.
Two of the bedroom suites are on the main level. Each bedroom is very spacious. One suite has a king bed, ceiling fan, 20' ceilings, deck access, HDTV with DVD player, and a private bath with a Jacuzzi tub and separate glass shower. The other suite has a queen bed, ceiling fan, 20' ceilings, deck access, HDTV with DVD player, and a private bath with double vanities and a tub/shower.
Downstairs is another living area, this one featuring 9' ceilings, a floor-to-ceiling stacked stone wall-to-wall hearth and gas log fireplace. Relax on the large suede sectional and catch your favorite TV shows on the big flat screen TV mounted over the fireplace. There is a half bath, a wet bar, and a wine cooler in this area, as well as access to the 2-car garage and laundry room.
The other two bedroom suites are on this level. Each suite features a Queen bed, a ceiling fan, and its own private bath with a tub/shower.
Step out onto the deck and soak in the magnificent short-range views of the meadows and the long-range views of Grandfather Mountain. The home faces west for dramatic sunset vistas. Fire up the gas grill, piped into the house supply, and create a barbequed feast, then kick back by the outdoor fireplace or in the brand new hot tub under the deck and enjoy the soothing sounds of the creek in the woods below the cabin. The entire house, including the deck and the garage, is connected to Sirius XM Satellite Radio with individual room controls, a perfect accompaniment for your gathering.
There is a community pavilion picnic area with a fireplace situated by the creek at the bottom of the development, suitable for kids of all ages. Fly fishing (artificial lure only) is permitted in the creek.

The internet at this home is not high-speed, but it is wireless Hughes-net satellite internet. Due to the slower speed, it is not suitable for gaming or streaming movies.
Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
