One of the most idyllic villages in the Weald Of Kent, Biddenden's small but quaint high street is lined with historic buildings home to the Michelin-guided The West House restaurant, the beautifully cosy interior of The Bakehouse Cafe selling tempting homemade cakes, wonderful lunches and local produce, as well as a friendly pub serving hearty meals, with many scenic countryside walking and cycling routes surrounding. With historic Bodiam castle a drive away, as well as Sissinghurst Castle Gardens and Scotney Castle, history lovers will have plenty of opportunity to explore, with the steam railway at Tenterden a firm family favourite along with the woodlands and bike trails at Bedgebury Pinetum.
