You are greeted to the property with ample off-road parking, before you step into your front garden where there is lawn for your furry friends to play, and a patio with furniture to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining and a hot tub so you can relax as you watch the sun go down. Stepping into the welcoming open-plan living space, with exposed beams and brick feature walls, there is a great kitchen area so you can cook up a storm to serve at the solid oak dining table as all guests toast to a wonderful holiday, then gather on the blue corner sofa or funky upholstered armchair to watch some television whilst the electric fire warms your toes. Pay a visit to the ruins of the 13th century Montgomery Castle, which enjoys beautiful views over the town's timber-framed houses and cobbled streets, and beyond across Wales. The castle also hosts productions of touring theatre groups regularly during the summer. A few miles to the south is the historic market town of Bishop's Castle, an excellent place for a day or night out with its excellent pubs, live music and festivals throughout the year. The wider area is wonderful for walking and there are many cycle routes in the surrounding countryside with varying levels of difficulty. You can venture further into Wales with a drive up to the Snowdonia National Park, or directly west to Cardigan Bay, for the day, or hop back over the border and explore the Shropshire Hills AONB.
