Brough 3 miles. An attractive, red sandstone detached cottage on the owner's upland sheep and cattle farm in the hamlet of Flitholme, a short drive from Appleby-in-Westmorland. Situated in open countryside, with glorious views over the Pennine hills, the area is ideal for walking, cycling and exploring both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District National Parks. Traditionally furnished with a homely feel, the cottage has an open plan living area with characterful beams and a cosy woodburning stove set in a feature stone fireplace. A lovely, light and sunny conservatory leads off from here, while the two bedrooms take in fine views over moorland and fields.
