This character, detached cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Biggin, near to Ashbourne, in the peak District National Park. This cottage is tastefully decorated throughout, keeping many original characters, making a perfect place for families and groups of friends to enjoy a lovely holiday. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a good-sized dining table and chairs, making a great social space to prepare and enjoy some great home-cooked meals. There is a choice of two sitting rooms with plenty of comfy sofas either with a welcoming woodburning stove or electric fire to relax in front of after a full day out and about exploring the area. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, plus a cot room with a family bathroom. To the outside of the cottage are extensive enclosed lawned gardens to enjoy, making a great place for the kids to let off some steam. Make use of the outside furniture for some alfresco dining or even just a relax with a glass of something chilled. There are wonderful walks from the doorstep and cycling trails directly accessible from the village, while the lovely village church and pub allow you to soak up the local atmosphere. Take a trip to the wonderful National Trust owned Dovedale and make use of the Tissington Trail for something different. For a good day out, take a trip to Buxton with its famous opera house and spa water as well as a good array of shops and bars, whilst the antique searcher's paradise of Ashbourne is also an easy drive away in the opposite direction. Further afield, take a visit to Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, or take a trip to Alton Towers for a fun-filled day out. Whatever you decide to do, Church View is a great place to explore the whole of the Peak District.
