Located in the small hamlet of Norton, close to Faversham nestled in the rolling North Kent Downs, an area designated as being of outstanding natural beauty, with countless lovely walks, cycle routes and country pubs. Elmley Nature Reserve is within easy reach and offers a wonderful landscape to explore the spectacular landscape (11 miles). Faversham is only 4 miles away and is famous for local ciders, butchers and fine food destinations such as the renowned farm shop Macknade, it also hosts a yearly hop festival and is home to Shepherd Neame, the country's oldest brewer.
A visit to Leeds Castle, whose epitaph is 'the most beautiful castle in the world' is highly recommended (9 miles) along with a trip to the seaside with Whitstable being 12 miles away. Meander through the small coastal town and enjoy the local oysters. The Cathedral City of Canterbury (12 miles) with its historic cathedral, beautiful medieval streets and shopping. Getting around is easy by road and rail - the nearest station is Faversham, with direct trains running to and from London Victoria.
