With the green, prom and town centre all within a very short walk, this is an excellent property for friends or families. From the smart communal hall and your own front door, head up the stairs to a lovely open plan living space, all newly finished and thoroughly well done. The seating area has a smart TV and big corner sofa - perfect for stretching out. There's a neat dining space, whilst the contemporary kitchen has everything you'll need during your holiday. Two bedrooms, both with kingsize beds provide a restful places for you to retire at the end of a busy day exploring all that there is to do nearby. Take a stroll along the sandy beach backed by the promenade and the famous Victorian pier or explore the good selection of restaurants and plenty of shops and cafes to enjoy. For younger ones, this is seaside heaven, with a children's play park with water fountains in the summer months and skate park. Further afield there's a host of family friendly attractions including Paignton Zoo, Splash Down Quay West and of course some of the best beaches in the region. The historic, seaside town of Teignmouth is situated in South Devon on the mouth of the Teign estuary and boasts a working harbour, sandy beach, Victorian pier, sailing club, diving centre and sea activity centre. The seaward side of the town is known as 'the Den' and has elegant Georgian buildings, a large public area with lawns, play areas, tennis courts, a bowling green, and a miniature lighthouse. On the opposite side of Teignmouth are fishing boats and beach huts, plus views of the village of Shaldon and the hills of Dartmoor can be seen. Teignmouth also hosts folk and jazz festivals each year, whilst both the town and Shaldon hold annual carnivals and water regattas.
