The modern fitted kitchen looks out onto National Trust land. Upstairs to 2 pretty bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, both with fell views. The bathroom overlooks Coniston water and features a roll top bath. Outside, you'll find a private enclosed garden with stunning fell views, patio area for dining and a secure bike store with racks for four bikes. A Coniston holiday cottage takes you slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Bowness and Lake Windermere, to a wilder landscape full of adventure.
Coniston Water takes you to a quieter area, still with a busy village, but more about walking and being on the water. It featured in Arthur Ransome's Swallows and Amazons, and was of course where Donald Campbell met his untimely end during his water speed record attempt in 'Bluebird'.
