Positive: Beautiful views above Lake Como. Comfortable beds and well equipped. 20 minute downhill walk to town so remember it’s all uphill on the way back! Close to a lovely bakery and two decent sized supermarkets about 10/15 minute walk away. Clear communication regarding check-in. Hosts friendly and available if needed but unobtrusive. A problem with the hot water in the kitchen sink was fixed immediately.
Negative: Completely as described in advertisements. Would be useful to have some basic information provided in the house relating to rubbish/recycling, instructions for appliances, restaurant recommendations, transport, supermarket locations etc. Host was helpful with any questions we had these but this would likely be useful for all guests if provided in a folder in the house.
Summary: Stunning location in a comfortable home.
