3 Bedroom House in Caergeiliog, Trearddur Bay
A 3 bedroom deceptively large detached bungalow located within 1 mile of Trearddur Bay Blue Flag beach and 2 miles from the quieter Rhoscolyn beach.
Our bungalow has very recently been extended to add a beautiful large sunroom to the front of the lounge, with modern floor to ceiling windows looking out onto open countryside.
Furnishings throughout the bungalow emphasise luxury and comfort and are to a high standard.
The layout comprises a new entrance porch, leading in from an Indian Stone patio which catches the afternoon and evening sunshine. The porch includes a cloaks wardrobe and leads into the long hallway.
A second disabled entrance leads up a short ramp straight into the large square sun room/ living room. This opens onto the dining area with oak dining table seating 6-8. A hatch looks through to a large kitchen with breakfast area at rear. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and ideal for those who love to cook, and find that they actually have the time to cook when they have a few days away. It Includes an electric 6 ring hob, with double oven cooker and grill. There’s also a microwave, dishwasher, and is exceptionally well equipped with glasses, china and cooking equipment and utensils. The Breakfast area at the rear of the kitchen looks out onto the rear garden and bifold doors lead onto the sun deck where you can make the most of the morning sunshine. The fully enclosed rear garden is laid mostly to grass, with potted plants and flowers, hanging baskets and an apple tree.
A Utility room off the kitchen houses a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board and leads through to a shower room with large step-in electric shower and WC.
There are three bedrooms: a large master bedroom to the front, with a king size bed. The large second bedroom to the rear has twin divans and the third, smaller bedroom also to the rear has a double bed. Room for cot in either of the large bedrooms. All bedrooms have blackout curtains, and a range of wardrobes and drawers.
Travel Cot and high chair are available on request.
The main bathroom has WC and a powerful shower over the bath. We have recently fitted a new oil Combi boiler supplying hot water and heating (if required for spring and autumn bookings).
Super fast BT Wifi and basic package BT TV included. Smart TV.
The Driveway has parking for 2 cars.
Open aspects at the front look over farmland and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our bungalow is Ideally situated for walking The Anglesey Coastal Path or many interesting shorter local walks.
Within easy walking distance (approx 1/2mile) is The Anchorage pub/restaurant which serves great food and a good pint.
We are within easy walking distance (about 15 minutes, or a few minutes drive) of the beautiful Blue Flag beach in Trearddur Bay village. Also several good restaurants/pubs/cafes, local shops, a post office and an ice-cream parlour.
10 minutes drive away are the beautiful white sandy beaches at Rhoscolyn; this beach is also great for kayaking from, or for walking from, following along the headlands and the Anglesey coastal path back to Trearddur for the more adventurous.
A few yards from the bungalow is a bus route serving Holyhead and other parts of the island of Anglesey and also Bangor and other resorts of North Wales.
10-15 mins drive away are several major supermarkets and other shops (including 24hr Tesco, Aldi, Morrisons, Farm Foods, Iceland and also Wilko, Home Bargains, B&M Bargains etc).
The two newest eating places in Trearddur Bay (The Oceans Edge and The Sea Shanty), and also The White Eagle at Rhoscolyn are proving to be very popular and may require prior booking at weekends and in busy periods! Great for eating out is also The Trearddur Bay Hotel and there’s an excellent Chinese restaurant/takeaway and new for 2023 is a Fish and Chip shop.
A well behaved small Dog is welcome for an additional charge but your dog must be kept out of the bedrooms to respect future guests. The layout of the bungalow means this is easily possible.
We have always cleaned our bungalow ourselves and you will find it meticulously clean. We use all Covid
We take bookings for full weeks during peak times but take shorter bookings of 4 nights at other times for long weekends or shorter periods mid-week.
We also provide towels, however these must not be taken to the beach.
