Welcome to this little oasis he historic Hyde Park neighborhood, near downtown Austin, Texas. Hyde Park is a walking neighborhood close to all major hospitals, grocery stores, restaurants, churches and shops. It is just north of UT and less than 3 miles from downtown Austin. House has been on the Hyde Park Home Tour and is a classic craftsman bungalow built in 1905.
Owner is an international relations specialist and has spent many years living and working in Asia (when you walk up to the house, this will become abundantly apparent). The furnishings and decor in and out of the house reflect her travels and passion for different cultures. As an author, she loves the idea of "little libraries" and invites guest to take and/or leave a book (please also peruse any other books throughout the house, which stay with the house).
Guests get the run of the fully furnished house - one bedroom, one bathroom, living room, office & kitchen. One room with a separate entry is not part of the listing. Owner may come and go a few times in between travels, but only accesses this room.
