Welcome to Winsome Woods Cabin, built in April 2022! This vacation cabin is nestled in the Overlook Brasstown gated development with spectacular views. Check out the video walk-through link in the pictures for an awesome virtual tour of our place! We are centrally located between Asheville, Atlanta, Chattanooga and Gatlinburg, a two hour scenic drive from any of the surrounding airports. Our cabin is 10 minutes from John C. Campbell Folk School, 15 minutes from downtown Murphy shopping & dining, 35 minutes from Lake Chatuge and easy day trips for many more exciting adventures!
Enjoy cozy sleep in our inviting bedrooms! This is a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom fully equipped cabin that comfortably sleeps 8. The loft is an open bedroom with a king bed and tile shower bathroom. (*In the closet of this loft bedroom is a queen and twin air mattress with sheets for anyone that needs extra sleeping space). On the main level is another bedroom equipped with a queen bed. The tile shower bathroom for this main bedroom is located across the hallway. (*In the closet of this main level bedroom is a pack and play equipped with sheets, high chair and two baby gates for our tiny guests.) The basement bedroom is family-friendly as it fits a queen bed and bunk beds.The basement bathroom is right beside the bedroom and includes a bath tub for little ones.
Order up! Our kitchen is fully stocked with a ninja blender, crock pot, waffle maker, toaster, various sizes of high-quality, all-clad pots, pans, steamer for veggies, stock pot, cookie sheets, pizza & brownie pans. The oven has an air fryer setting too! Every single item is brand new in this kitchen and fully equipped with PB dinner & serving ware. We even have an organized bin of munchkin children’s dinnerware for the little guests. There is a microwave, coffee pot & Keurig that has Keurig pods/sugar/creamer packets ready for use! Downstairs in the basement is a kitchenette area including a microwave, mini frig, Keurig and electric tea kettle for all your popcorn and hot beverage movie night snuggles! We would love to accommodate any foreseeable kitchen item at your request if you give us ample notice to ship whatever might be needed.
To enhance your stay, each bathroom is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, hair dryers and first aid kits. There will be a trio of washcloth, hand towel and bath towel per guest with laundry pods in the washing area if needed. For extra convenience, we provide a simple Concierge Bin with items you may accidentally leave behind.
Dreaming of mountain view’s, there are two decks to this cabin. On the upper, main level deck is a greeting bench outside the front entrance door, a bistro table and two chairs nestled in the corner for morning coffee, and four rocking chairs out front to enjoy the picturesque setting. The left corner of the upper deck also holds an Expert five burner combo propane grill with independent griddle for easy gourmet dinners. The lower deck encourages relaxation through a 5 person jacuzzi spa with ozonator on the left side of cabin. Just inside the sliding door is a basket of gray striped spa towels for our guests as well as hooks outside for drying. There is a wood burning fire pit with cooktop grill for hot dog roasting or s’mores along with Adirondack chairs.
Get ready to enjoy the movies in this fun-filled basement with a 75” tv and huge sectional couch right alongside the kitchenette area! The colorful game room has a ping pong table, poker table, record player, book shelf along with many board games for all ages. There is a yellow sitting bench that has toys inside for little ones.
Ready for rejuvenation? The upstairs living area is set to relax in front of the inviting gas fireplace beside floor-to-ceiling windows. Dining table seats 6, with two extra bar stools on the island.
Internet service is through Starlink for Wi-Fi. Both tv’s are smart functioning (upstairs tv 55” & downstairs tv 75”).
