Relax in the tall pines in this Buffalo themed luxury cabin. Enjoy visits from deer, elk, amd turkey, the smell of pines and the forest, privacy from road traffic and no close neighbors.
The game room has a pool table and shuffleboard. The large deck has a pellet BBQ and outdoor tables and furniture.
The master bedroom does not have a closet as it is locked for the owner. There are also several other closets locked for supplies and furnaces; please do not tamper with these or an alarm will be activated.
Downtown Ruidoso is just a 5 minute drive.

This rental is listed for 1 guest, an additional fee of $50 per guest after 1 guest will be added. Please book with the number of guests anticipated. We can change the guest count when on check-in. Outdoor surveillance records all vehicles and guests.
This is an inquiry only listing, and only guests with 3 or more good reviews with no bad reviews will be considered. There can be exceptions to this, but a few questions will be asked, and possibly a deposit will be required for new members or guests with less than 3 reviews. The host reserves the right to deny booking to any inquiry or booking request, whether reviewed or not.
The primary booking guest must be at least 26 years old. This is not a party destination, and excessive partying will not be tolerated. VRBO and the host reserve the right to cancel a reservation if partying is detected and the guests will be canceled by VRBO, and forfeiture of all fees will incur, and guest will have to leave. Please respect this property.
NOTICE TO PET OWNERS:
We follow all ADA laws.
No pets are allowed, including emotional support pets(host has an exemption from emotional support pets from VRBO) due to safety concerns with predators in the forest.
SERVICE DOGS: If you have a qualified service dog, please contact the host before booking to discuss safety issues on this property.
Impersonating a service dog is a misdemeanor in the State of New Mexico and a $1000 fine. Any suspected impersonation of a service dog will be immediately reported to the ADA director of New Mexico, Lincoln County Sheriff, and VRBO.
Host has an exemption from VRBO for hosting emotional support dogs due to safety concerns, a cancellation of booking will occur if emotional support dog or any pet is brought on property and guest will be asked to leave.
There are 24 hour a day recorded surveillance at all gates and on all outdoor property, and the host knows his rights and can easily recognize a fake service dog and will take action on any such deception(s) by sending videos to the New Mexico ADA director and the Lincoln County Sheriff
The host reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone bringing a pet on the property, and the guest will forfeit all booking fees to the host and VRBO if a pet is brought on the property.
Pictures are taken of all rooms and all outdoor areas by the host before arrival of guests for protection of both the host and the guest(s)
You have booked the dwelling. Any activities outdoors are on the guest and guests, and VRBO nor the host is responsible for any accidents or other problems guests may incur if walking or hiking outside of the dwelling.
No trash or trash bags are to be left outdoors as it will bring bears, mountain lions, raccoons, coyotes, wolves, and other critters. There is a secure trash area provided.
Quiet time is 9pm until 8am, at no time is loud music or activities allowed. Respect the forest and all who are in the area. Loud activities will be detected and recorded by surveillance, and notification of such is built into the surveillance.
Jarrat Loop Drive and the driveway entrance can be slick and icy during winter storms. We advise anyone booking during the cold months to be aware of ice and snow conditions that can make access difficult and, at times, possibly inaccessible due to ice and snow until the county clears the snow and ice. We advise 4wd vehicles and chains. This is rare, but it does happen. VRBO and the host are not responsible for access during winter storms or the days following, such as this scenario has been declared here in the listing and the house rules.
Please report any damages found when checking in on VRBO messages, also report any damages that happen while being a guest on VRBO messages immediately when such happens so the host knows.
Absolutely no vaping or smoking indoors. Smoking detectors are in all indoor areas, and alarms with times recorded are put on record by the app. If smoking is detected, there will be an additional $500 fee added to the reservation.
This rental is 420 friendly outdoors only and in compliance with all New Mexico laws.
Absolutely no campfires are allowed, and anyone starting one will be canceled by VRBO and forfeit all fees and will be asked to leave. The Lincoln County Sheriff patrols the area and will also enforce the no campfire rule. Having a campfire in a no campfire or a no burn ban will result in a $5000 penalty and a jail sentence. Our Sheriff and the Forest Service watch closely for obvious reasons.
The pool table is for pool games only. It's is not to be used as a table, a beer pong game, or anything other than pool. Pictures are taken of the table before the guest is 6 for any damage(s). Pictures are taken of all rooms and outdoor areas before the guests arrive.
