The rustic, cedar-sided Bridge Cottage is tucked under the trees at 2,600 feet elevation on our private 40-acre mountain ridge. An elfin stream runs by it, warbling merrily as it falls into a crystal pool and flows under an arched stone footbridge. From the bridge--or comfortably seated on the cottage's porch--enjoy a seasonal sampling of native wild flowers in bloom. Rhodendom and our special patch of rare Pink Lady Slippers are among the many delights. Relax on a brook side bench under flowering window boxes, immersed in the beauty and tranquility of a woodland wonderland.
You'll appreciate the casual charm of the cottage's interior with tongue-in-groove cedar walls and ceiling, rough-cut cedar beams, and hickory hardwood flooring throughout. You'll watch HD satellite TV to keep you up-to-date on the outside world.
The living room area includes a small but fully-equipped kitchen with eating area. Eat, write, or use the free high-speed Internet connection in the broad passageway to the bedroom/sitting room.
This cottage, indeed, is the most intimate environment of all our accommodations.
