Travel Purpose: business
Positive: The house is excellently located within a short walking distance from lots of walking routes and Keswick town center, pubs and cafes. The views from the front of the property are beautiful. The house itself is well maintained and has a lovely conservatory type area upstairs with a balcony to enjoy the views. The garden is fully enclosed and secure for dogs. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. The beds are very comfortable.
Negative: Only very minor issues, did not detract from the enjoyment of the stay. There is only one bathroom/toilet which for 6 people can be a problem. The smoke/heat detectors are triggered very easily from the steam after a shower, the bathroom window was locked and therefore we couldn't open it and the extractor only does so much, however we found a way around it to make sure the bathroom door was closed after someone had used it. The kitchen layout is a bit fiddly for emptying the dishwasher as you can't open one of the cupboards / reach to the higher cupboards very easily (if you're short) when the dishwasher door is open.
