This suite is newly-built and includes a full oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a full-size fridge and freezer. The living room features a gas fireplace, and the unit has its own temperature control. The suite includes its own private outdoor space in a sunny, south-facing backyard. Our internet is fast and reliable, and our TV has Netflix and Prime.
With over-height ceilings and featuring a luxury queen-size master bed, for bookings of 3 guests, we offer a high-quality single air mattress, and for 4 guests, we offer a bed height, queen-sized air mattress. If you book for 2 guests, we will assume you'll be sleeping in the queen bed unless you say otherwise. Let us know if you have any questions about sleeping arrangements when you book.
Guests have full access to the entire suite and private backyard. Free street parking is available. It's a quiet street that hardly ever has any parked cars; the spot right in front of the suite entrance is usually free. We are on a hill, so although the suite is ground level, there are a few steps to get to the front door. Check-in is done with a keypad code, so guests can check in at their leisure. Guests can have as much or as minimal interaction with hosts as they wish.
We are located about a 10min. walk or less to Old Orchard Park. At this park, there is a sandy beach, calm ocean water you can swim in (in any season if you're brave), picnic tables, a playground, and washroom facilities. From this park, you can continue to walk along the Shoreline trail, which is a wooded trail with both a pedestrian gravel path and a paved shared path for bicycles and pedestrians. This trail will take you all the way to Rocky Point Park, a large park with many amenities. From our door, it's 3.5km, and a commonly used search engine says it's a 42min. walk one way.
