The space
Your suite is bright, warm and welcoming, allowing you to enjoy that special feeling of home away from home. Special enough for this to be a treat yet comfortable enough for you to be at ease.
Within your suite you will find all the amenities you would need to have a great stay, including:
• A fully contained suite with separate, smart lock entrance. Nothing shared.
• Free, strong, fast wi-fi that is not shared with the rest of the house. You also have the option of ethernet connection directly to your device, if you prefer.
• 2 bedrooms each with double beds, one with a walk-in closet for all your storage needs.
• Fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs.
• 55” Smart HD TV with Netflix, PrimeTV, Disney all ready to go for you. Live TV is also available with over 30 channels to choose from including CBC, CityTV, CTV, CBS, ABC, FOX, Global, The CW, PBS, TVO and more.
• Your own laundry including washer, dryer.
• For the one who works from home, we have provided a desk and office chair for dedicated work space away from the common living areas.
• Your own private, enclosed outdoor space for relaxing, working out or just catching some sun.

Your suite is in the basement of our home and is warm, compared to most basements. Guests have been known to crack the windows open but everyone is different. For those who prefer a warmer, cosier feel, a portable, remote controlled space heater is available so you can set the temperature just the way you like it and where you want it.
We are a quiet family but you may hear the odd sounds from our unit upstairs. Don’t worry. These are few and far between and may involve our floofball of a dog, Kalypso, who is a goldendoodle (a mix of golden retriever and poodle). He rarely barks but makes his presence know every once in a while, especially when the squirrels are on the move.
Your laundry units are located in the utility room where the furnace and electrical controls are located. The sounds of the furnace are dampened for your comfort however, you will hear the white noise of the furnace when it is in operation.
Parking is not available on the driveway with this suite, however you can take advantage of the FREE street parking available but only if you register your vehicle(s) with the City of Pickering. Just go to their website and click through to Parking. The process is simple, immediate and a 21-day permit is granted immediately. Extensions MAY be granted if you make a request for more time.
Oh, and before I forget, you may hear faint sounds of us breaking out into random vocal harmony on a whim. We apologize in advance for, but hope you can enjoy, possible unplanned serenades. These will not be happening during our quiet time.
This is a family neighbourhood. With elementary and high schools nearby, our intention is to welcome guests who will honour our residents. That means no parties, no drama of any kind and no smoking in or around the property.
