- The space -
This modernly decorated historic home is divided into two separate apartments. Your apartment includes the entire top floor with a private back entrance and access to a shared backyard. Enjoy the full kitchen, king and two twin XL beds, and in-unit laundry. The front office also has a daybed for an additional guest!
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and the small bathroom is stocked with soaps and shampoo from Public Goods. A smart TV in the living room is ready to be signed into, and high speed WiFi is available throughout. This apartment is very compact and there is a dining space in the living room if desired!
Each bedroom has blackout curtains as well as sound machines to help with regularly occurring city sounds and potential noise from downstairs neighbors.
You are welcome to use the backyard space during your stay, but please note this area is shared with the downstairs tenants and quiet hours must be adhered to so as to not disturb our neighbors.
Smoking, vaping, parties, and pets are not allowed on the premises at any time. For your safety and mine, security cameras are located at all entrances as well as in the backyard.

Blocks away from a major interstate means as little as a 12 minute drive to either O'Hare or downtown (very traffic dependent). The Addison Blue Line station is a ten minute walk which will also take you directly to and from O'Hare or downtown. There are multiple grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance, and there are a few bus lines that stop right down the street (including the bus to Wrigley Field)!
There is some free parking on our block as well as adjacent blocks and guests will have access to guest parking passes to park directly in front of the house if desired and available. Parking is easy to come by up until around 9pm after which you might have to look at the surrounding blocks with free parking.
- Other things to note -
This unit comes with both the charms and quirks of a 1920's home! Doors might be a little sticky due to weather changes, the kitchen floors definitely have a creak to them, and you may hear the downstairs neighbors from time to time. Please note that while normal noise levels are not heard by the other apartment, yelling, door slamming, and other loud disturbances are very disruptive to our neighbors so we ask that guests be aware and courteous of how loud they are being, especially past quiet hours. Additionally, because this is a top floor unit, we ask that guests be aware of how loud they are walking to keep noise levels to a minimum.
