'Bountiful', a comfortable, clean & quaint 3 bedroom Victorian house, circa 1893, is a truly delightful property. Bountiful offers a feeling of charm amid its pinewood ceilings and walls, antique fixtures and attractive furnishings. A fully enclosed sun porch with windows and screens offers a refuge for those who seek total relaxation. The property is just one house removed from Pleasant Point Landing & beach; an inner Wellfleet Harbor community, located behind the southern tip of Historic Indian Neck. This estuary-marsh front neighborhood has a sandy swim-able tidal beach; a great launching area for canoes, kayaks and beach walks. Pleasant Point Landing's beach is accessed by a private community walking path adjacent to the properties driveway. Whatever experience you are seeking, let 'Bountiful' show you the way. *New in 2017: Air conditioning on the ground floor. New 12,000 BTU window unit comfortably cools the whole Living/Dining and Kitchen area. Both 2nd floor bedrooms have window units as well. SATURDAY CHANGE-OVER DAY. CHECK-IN: 3 P. M.; CHECK-OUT 10 A.M. *RENTERS ARE TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN SHEETS & TOWELS. *(Linens available for a linen service fee of $150) Town Beach Sticker Office/Town Pier: Except for our Pleasant Point neighborhood beach, a beach permit is required for all other Town Ocean and Bay Beaches from the third Saturday in June 16th, until Sept. 3, 2019 beach parking permit fees are: * 3 - Day: $55* 1 - week: $90* 2 - week: $170* Season: $300 They are available at the Beach Sticker Booth on the Town Pier, Sunday to Thursday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM; Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. ANSWER: Many renters ask is the beach is sandy and/or is the beach 'swimmable'. The answer is yes. Yes it is a sandy beach. However, Pleasant Point Landing beach is a bay-side beach. ALL Wellfleet bay-side beaches have a tidal range of 9-12 feet, depending on the moon cycle. Pleasant Point's beach is swimmable 2 hours either side of absolute High-tide. This gives beach goers 4 hours for swimming. Again, depending on the tide charts. At low tide, it is NOT accessible for swimming and walking out on the flats is NOT advisable unless wearing waders.
