If you are looking for a beach holiday in St Ives with the convenience of parking, sleeping a family of 6 and bringing along your family pet, look no further than Boslowen! This house is in the heart of Downalong, St Ives and is moments from Porthmeor beach, sleeps 6, accepts a dog (of medium size only) and is a wonderfully inviting place where you can kick back, relax and feel at ease. As you enter the house off Porthmeor Road, off the small hallway, there is a bedroom to sleep a teenager or adult in a 4ft small double bed. Upstairs is the next level of bedrooms. There is a king size bedroom with a small en-suite shower, wash basin and WC. There is also a bedroom with triple cabin bunks – a tremendously fun place for little ones with great creativity of mind! On the same floor is the family bathroom with bath and shower over, wash basin and WC. The next floor up is the open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a gas wood burner (perfect for making winter evenings super cosy) and three sash windows where sunlight floods in. The window seat peers over Porthmeor Road and the passers-by below or, for a view over rooftops to Porthmeor Beach and Clodgy Head take the wooden steps to the mezzanine level and gain a bird’s eye view of what fun is being had on the beach below. For some play time entertainment, there is an Xbox and TV, there is also a selection of books and games and a super surface for budding artists of all ages to draw what they have seen during the day. The parking space is directly below the house in a covered area and will fit a family sized car (in the gallery of photos, the grey long wheel base Caddy Van is parked in the space). Please note the covered area is shared with one other car and so, if two large cars are parked, the area may be a squeeze. Boslowen is just seconds from Porthmeor Beach which is a surfer’s dream location, Porthgwidden Beach which is family friendly (being slightly more sheltered) and Bamaluz beach which is dog-friendly all year round. Being so close to Porthmeor beach, you can leave your shoes behind and pad along with your beach gear and body boards straight to the beach! The harbour front is less than a 2 minutes’ walk away as is the heart of St Ives’ cobbled shop-lined Fore Street. The choice of bars, restaurants and Cornish pubs are also plentiful and all within a couple of minutes’ walk. Please note: a pet fee of £25 per week will be applied to your booking. We do require to know the age, sex and breed of the dog.
