You will love this beautiful vacation condo in the popular Ocean Walk complex, just up the street from historic Pier Village. We are just a short walk away from the Mallery Street Sports Park, the village shops, restaurants, pier, tidal beach, putt-putt, lighthouse, Neptune Park Splash Zone, and so much more!!!
Ocean Walk is a lovely live-oak canopied complex with the most amenities of any condo complex on the island. Did I mention the heated pool!! It is about a mile to most of our 40 beach accesses. The island and the beaches are perfect for bike riding (we love the Bike Dude and Robert, Wendy, and Alicia at Pedego for ebikes) with lots of bike paths and quiet side streets for exploring. Golf cart rental is also available right in the village and at multiple places nearby. You will find those are the perfect modes of transportation on the island.
Our unit is perfectly situated in the back corner with easy access to both pools. Do not let other condo complexes fool you!! Ocean Walk is the only condo complex with an open and heated pool all fall winter and spring! We also have a small lake for fishing, turtle and duck feeding, or just relaxing. The clubhouse has a game room with a TV and gaming station, a gathering room with a kitchen, a pingpong table, a laundry room, and a fitness center. The four-sided porch is perfect for relaxing. There is also a second unheated pool with a kiddie splash pool and a cabana area with a full-size fridge and gas grill for those poolside BBQs. The grounds and our island are very pet friendly, and with all the green space it is perfect for dog walking. There is also a little dog area right near our unit. We recommend K9 Corner for doggie daycare and boarding.
Inside you will find a newer kitchen with a custom-built breakfast bar installed in February of 2017. The dining area seats four, and there is a quiet, private patio for outdoor dining and relaxing. In the living room, you will find a huge flat-screen TV and a comfy LazyBoy sofa sleeper. The master has a king bed, a huge dresser for storage, and even a small walk-in closet. The bath has a tub, shower, and toilet that is separate from the sink and vanity area.
Our place is also pet-friendly, WITH RESTRICTIONS. Your pet must be crated when not supervised in the condo. We will consider NONSHEDDING DOGS UNDER 40 POUNDS. Please ask me about your pup if it doesn't fit these restrictions. We have a $150 pet fee, as additional cleaning is needed. Unauthorized pets will mean a forfeited security deposit.
We live on the island and are nearby to assist you in any way we can. You will receive arrival instructions with thorough directions and codes to the door 24-48 hours prior to your stay. We are available anytime should you have questions or troubles, however!
