DETAILS: A relaxing vacation awaits you at Vacay-Zen, a 3-bedroom, 3-bath gulf-front home with spectacular views that can accommodate nine guests. Feel the stress of daily life melt away while sitting on one of the home’s expansive decks while taking in the sights and sounds of the Gulf.
The living area is located on the second floor. Here you’ll find a contemporary kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar with seating for two, and lovely bay views from the windows above the sink.
The stylish dining area is located adjacent to the kitchen. Here you’ll find a table that seats eight, along with impressive beach and water views from the windows that surround you.
The very well-appointed living room is located just off the dining area. It comes replete with a comfortable armchair and couch, as well as a flatscreen Smart TV. There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower just off the living room.
Access to an expansive deck is located just off the living area. It features several Adirondack chairs, a large table, and a propane grill, should you like to prepare your meals outside. Imagine sitting on the deck with your morning coffee while you enjoy the impressive views of the Gulf!
Guests can get some rest in one of three comfortable bedrooms situated on the first floor of the home:
There’s a king-sized bedroom that features a comfortable chair, closet space, access to the deck, and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower.
The second king-bedroom on this level boasts a king-sized bed, a wall-mounted flatscreen TV, a dresser, as well as access to the deck. This bedroom shares a hall bathroom with a shower-over-tub with the bunk room.
The bunk room on the first floor is ideal for the children in your group. Here you’ll find two twin-over-twin bunks with trundle.

Summary: We had a relaxing vacation at this home with five kids! The beautiful interior pictures are just as described. Our stay included a different grill than pictured. There is not decking steps off the front of the house like some of the pics indicate; no big deal. Deck on the side of house coming down underneath. The two large covered decks off the front of the house were incredible! When we arrived we had an amazing sandy beach. The kids had a blast riding the waves with boogie boards. The under house storage had a nice selection of boogie boards, sand toys, couple chairs. There was also a surf board and kayak for use as well! Beyond the control of the rental company, after a few days in, with high winds and double red flags, the waves washed away about 2-3 feet deep of beach sand. Broken concrete slabs and tree stumps were exposed on the beach. Upon our departure some of the sand had washed back in, but small amounts of concrete were still exposed and stumps. Drove a few miles to the St. Joseph Peninsula State Park and enjoyed the bay on the last day, since the gulf side had double red flags and high winds. It was calm and peaceful. It seemed more like a lake for a Midwest comparison; light current, shallow entry and lots of splashing fun! Fishing catches: pompano, whiting, flounder, jack crevalle. Long Bill’s reasonable priced for kids meals, loved cheese pizza. Scallop Cove General Store also had reasonable priced slushies for kids! Cone Heads had yummy shrimp & grits!
