The house has been carefully presented by its owners, whose aim was to create a holiday cottage that they themselves would be happy to stay in. Original stone walls, beams and ships' timbers are combined with careful interior design and subtle lighting. No expense has been spared on extras such as a hot tub and a wine cooler. The Boathouse & Moorings is an old building with a definite coastal charm. Bedrooms and bathrooms are situated downstairs where white-washed stone walls and flagged floors create a clean, minimalist style. Upstairs, there’s a good sized dining room with wonderful views over the Strait and an expansive open plan kitchen/sitting room with high ceiling and original exposed beams. Step out through the french doors onto a broad deck complete with hot tub and outdoor seating and more wonderful views. All so close to the sea. You are promised a fantastic holiday experience.
