Positive: Location, location, location - VERY good location! 6-7 min walking from London Victoria - a major transportation hub. Short walk to the Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abby and the Parliament/Big Ben. Public transport is easy and convenient! A ton of things to see - history, architecture, people.
Negative: Business hours for the key drop off place were inaccurate - the drop off was closed, causing us to miss our airport express couch and be very tight at the airport. Place has a small laundry machine but no detergent. No A/C - to cool off you have to open the windows and hear all the construction sounds from the building project across the street. Host was pretty particular several times to be very considerate and stay quiet, however, neighbor's 3 little children play in a common hallway next to the lift (escalator) and they like screaming and bouncing ball non-stop... And that CRAZY-STRONG curry small across the floor... We like diversity and enjoy other cultures, but screaming kids and headache from unavoidable strong curry smell was too much. Floors seem to be vacuumed time-to-time but it has not seen wet wipe for months. Host demands removing shoes in the flat (which we did as we do at our home) but the floor, let's be honest, is dirty-dirty. I wish they wet-wiped at least weekly. The exhaust in the toilet does not work - room steams up in 2-3 minutes if you are taking a shower.
