BLUEHAVEN BEACH RETREAT IS SIMPLY THE BEST BEACHFRONT PROPERTY in Rockingham! It is a stunning contemporary beach house, ideally situated overlooking the sparkling Indian Ocean and with easy walking distance to all amenities. It is just right for larger family gatherings/holidays/reunions, book clubs, yoga retreats or for group or corporate bookings.
The beach house has spacious accommodation for up to 14 guests to stay at the property with 6 bedrooms, spread over two levels, and a 7th bedroom/sitting-room on the upper-level mezzanine.
BLUEHAVEN is fully equipped with everything you need for that perfect getaway holiday. With comfy sofas, smart TV's, free WIFI, well equipped kitchens and laundry and ample tables and chairs throughout, the house can very easily cater for large gatherings. Yet there are also some excellent 'hidey-hole' spaces if you just want some quiet 'time out'.
With its clean lines, external use of weatherboard and limestone and architectural detailing Bluehaven Beach Retreat truly represents the classic Australian beach house.
Outside, there are timber balcony decks, green lawns and garden areas to enjoy some quiet relaxing time, or perhaps to spread out for that social game of bocce. Meanwhile the kids can be let loose on their scooters and trikes - all within the confines of the property's secure fences and gates. Or get your trainers or skates on and hit the boardwalk for a must-do promenade along the ocean edge.
BLUEHAVEN BEACH RETREAT is ideal for corporate stays, 'time-out' holidays or family groups with small children. As this is an executive residence, large party gatherings, weddings, wedding receptions, school leaver groups or unaccompanied minors are not permitted.
SPECTACULAR BEACHFRONT SETTING. This truly is an ABSOLUTE WATERFRONT location; walk 50m from your front gate - across the Esplanade road and beach sands - and you'll be standing knee-deep in the ocean! The beach is sandy white, the ocean sparkling blue, and the water exceptionally safe for swimming. And there's a great fishing jetty 100m from where you're standing! No wonder this is a previous winner of the Best Beach Award in Western Australia. Do not be disturbed by the occasional pod of dolphins that may swim by, they are the locals here and are very friendly!
BLUEHAVEN overlooks the sparkling blue waters of Cockburn Sound, Point Peron and Garden Island beyond, enjoying spectacular 180-degree panoramic views from each floor. The front of the property faces north (a rare beachfront orientation in Western Australia) and thus turns it back on the prevailing south-westerly winds. The expansive north-facing living areas can be completely opened up to the terrace balconies - and ocean views beyond - via concertina glass bi-fold panels, thus enabling the interior living areas to be flooded with light, air, and the sounds of the sea.
Enjoy a wonderful holiday - walking, swimming, fishing, watching the boating activity, checking out the nearby cafe strip or simply relaxing - at this fabulous location. Or, if you have to work or travel into Perth, you can easily commute by train direct to the Perth CBD and return for relaxing evenings by the ocean!
ACCOMMODATION SPECIFICS:
BLUEHAVEN BEACH RETREAT can accommodate up to 14 persons on the premises. The floor plan layout over the two main levels are similar with each floor inter-connected via an internal stair off the ground-level entry hall.
Bedroom accommodation includes:
i) Up to 12 persons in the 6 x bedrooms (3 bedrooms on each level) which include: 2 x master bedrooms with separate ensuite bathrooms and walk-in robes, and 4 x other enclosed bedrooms with built-in robes, spread over the two levels. One of the master bedrooms has a king-size bed; the other 5 bedrooms can have the beds configured as either king-size beds or twin-singles;
ii) Up to 2 persons in the upper-level mezzanine. This room is accessed via a circular stair from the main living level and can be used as either a 7th bedroom or as a quiet sitting room. It has a great high level view out to the ocean. There is 1 x sofa lounge on the mezzanine which can easily convert to form a double-size bed or 1 x single bed
Other accommodation spread over the 2 x main levels includes:
> 2 x large north-facing lounge/dining rooms (each with ocean facing balconies);
> 2 x fully-equipped designer kitchens;
> 2 x large south-facing separate family/games room (a pool table is also included in the upper floor family/games room);
> 2 x main bathrooms with shower, bath and vanity basin;
> 2 x private ensuite bathrooms off the master bedrooms with shower, vanity basin and WC/toilet (the lower-level ensuite has built-in features to assist those with mobility issues);
> 2 x separate WC/toilet - so you won't need to wait in line at any time;
> 2 x fully-equipped laundries.
GROUPS/BOOKINGS:
BLUEHAVEN BEACH RETREAT may be booked for short term (min 2 nights duration) for either or both:
> STARFISH APARTMENT (max 6 guests) located on the lower (ground) level' or:
> SEAGULL APARTMENT (max 8 guests) on the upper level and mezzanine.
Each apartment is separated via an internal lockable sliding door at entry level. The two residences are quite separate - each with their own entries and security systems
