Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location was marvelous, just out of town, but private and in the midst of nature. The property was beautifully designed and constructed with native woods abounding. It was spacious and comfortable with lovely little tables out on the deck to enjoy coffeee and breakfast. This spot is a bird lover's paradise. The porch benches that wrap around 3 sides of the house seemed to have been designed specifically with the arm rests at the perfect height to lean your elbows and support one's binoculars. There is a path down to a covered shelter for more nature viewing. Also the owners are co-operating with the Green Ara Macaw conservation project and have a nesting box high in a tree, and we were lucky enough to see/hear a pair enjoying it two days in a row. Zinni, the caretaker, was very pleasant and responsive.
Negative: Our suggestion to improve our stay would be to have screens on more of the windows in the kitchen and living room. After sunset to avoid nature's little intruders it was necessary to keep all the wooden shutters closed which made the air / ambiance a bit close.
Summary: We loved our stay!
