Enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the Blue Bird Cottage, an ocean front home with private beach access located between Waldport and Yachats. Stroll the miles of sand on Big Stump Beach or just sit on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Additional amenities include a fully fenced yard for the pets and kids, telescope and binoculars for whale watching and a home WiFi system for the working vacationer. The Blue Bird Cottage has 2 bedrooms plus a loft, 1.5 bathrooms and a fireplace in the living room for those cozy evenings. This is one of the coziest homes and best locations on the Oregon coast!

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Blue Bird Cottage is perfectly located just north of Yachats with private steps right down to the immense beach with miles of walkability. It was impecably clean despite being a bit dated, but did have a wonderfully updated new shower. The layout of this cute little cottage is quirky though for sure; despite having 3 different sleeping areas and a living room, there was no place to curl up with a cup of tea or a good book that had a view of the ocean. The cottage definitely has direct views of the ocean, but the way it is structured makes it impossible to arrange the furniture to take advantage of them. This would not have been an issue in warmer weather, but in the winter it would have been nice. I can see how the deck would be amazing in warmer weather as well, and would give it another try maybe in the summer next time.
