Lake Lure continues to recover from Hurricane Helene! We’re pleased to share that Bliss by the Lake (and Rumbling Bald) are once again welcoming guests. Thanks to dedicated contractor and volunteer efforts, access roads and essential services like power, water, and WiFi, are restored. Although the Chimney Rock area, Lake Lure beaches and waterfront are currently closed, there is so much that our beautiful foothills area has to offer. Come enjoy Bliss as a peaceful retreat and “home base” for visiting nearby towns and attractions. Area restaurants, including Lake Lure and Asheville are reopening. There's golf at Rumbling Bald, and area wineries, breweries, music, trails, waterfalls, and so much natural beauty within an hour's drive of Lake Lure. Tryon Equestrian Center is hosting some of the Chimney Rock businesses that suffered from the storm. Saluda, Hendersonville, Forest City, Ashville, and larger cities like Greenville, SC and Charlotte, NC are great day-trip destinations. The new Updated "Bliss by the Lake" This unique 2 level-4 bedroom-3 bath, round house is spacious and convenient with plenty of room for the whole family. Situated where Buffalo Creek meets Bald Mountain Lake, Bliss offers a calm peaceful location surrounded by beautiful mountain views. Guest passes for most amenities at Rumbling Bald are included.
MAIN LEVEL: is a spacious open floor plan with living room, a flat screen TV, dining room and kitchen. A wonderful stone wood burning fireplace offers cozy comfort, (Available Oct. 1-April 1.) The kitchen is well stocked. The dining table seats 6 people, 4 additional may be seated at a card table is located in storage closet in lower level) The screened in porch runs the full length of the kitchen and dining room and is a perfect location for relaxing, viewing the lake, taking in the mountain views or listening to and viewing the waterfalls coming off of Buffalo Creek. The deck off of the living area is a perfect spot for summer cook outs! There is a gas grill (we provide the propane), as well as an outdoor patio table and umbrella for shade. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level: Main Bedroom-King, and private bath with double sinks and separated tiled shower and toilet. Guest Bedroom-1 on this level has a twin with a twin trundle and TV. A full bath with tub/shower combo is located in the hall opposite the guest bedroom.
LOWER LEVEL: A game room complete with a pool table, mini stainless-steel fridge, TV (complete with Sonos sound bar), comfortable seating and bar area. The laundry area is also accessed from this room. There are 2 additional bedrooms: Guest Bedroom-2-King. Guest Bedroom-3- Queen. A large full bathroom with tub/shower combo. The den features a pull out queen pull-out sleeper sofa, gaming table for playing cards or checkers, a TV with DVD, a karaoke machine, and a championship style dart board.
ENJOY THE OUTSIDE AREA OF BLISS: The large yard is perfect for lawn games. You will also find 1 fire pit surrounded by 4 Adirondack chairs (extra outdoor chairs available).
