This stylish architect designed four bedroom home is ideal for multiple families or groups seeking active pursuits such as skiing, snow-boarding, mountain biking or four wheel driving, as well as those looking for a more relaxed pace to enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Victorian High Country. About the house: Upstairs features a light filled open plan living space with a fully equipped and spacious kitchen, gorgeous cherry wood dining table and seriously comfy sofa. The large sofa surrounds the European Style wood fire heater and features views of the mountains beyond. Around the corner, in front of the expansive floor to ceiling windows, you will find the perfect spot to curl up and read/relax the day away in our book nook. The upstairs deck has expansive views and often features sightings of local wildlife such as Kangaroos, Deer and King Parrots. Sleeping arrangements: Bedroom 1 upstairs has a queen size bed, flat screen TV and full en-suite. Bedroom 2 downstairs has a queen size bed and full en-suite Bedroom 3 downstairs has a queen size bed and one set of bunks and shower and basin Bedroom 4 downstairs has two sets of bunks and direct access to bathroom with bath/shower and basin. There is also a seperate powder room off the hallway. Downstairs features a second living space, perfect for a kids retreat, featuring TV, sofa and games area with children's toys (kept in the cupboard). Out beyond the downstairs deck, there is a fire pit and bench seating. Perfect for toasting marshmallows and watching the stars. Guest access: All areas of the house, except for the cage in the garage, are accessible to guests. Neighbourhood overview: The perfect location for a relaxing and stress free holiday. The property is located a short 5 minute drive to the Mt Buller & Mt Stirling resort entry gate and a 20 minute drive from Mansfield. The immediate surround has abundant wildlife and you are likely to see Kangaroos and native birds. This location makes an excellent base for a range of mountain sports such as skiing, snow-boarding, mountain biking, four wheel driving, trail bike riding and fly fishing. Getting around: Mount Buller Bus Lines has a bus stop at the end of the street. Services run from Mansfield to/from Mt Buller. Check Mount Buller Bus Line's website for service schedules. Other things to note: All linen and towels are provided! You will need to provide your own firewood for the wood heater in the main living area. This can be purchased from service stations and the hardware store in Mansfield. There is also a reverse cycle heating system upstairs, plus electric heaters in all downstairs bedrooms. •Wi-Fi – There is Wi-Fi available, however due to the regional location, we have a satellite internet connection which is only available with very minimal data allowance (60GB/Month). To ensure fairness for all guests a 2GB per day limit has been set. After the limit is reached you will not be able to access the internet until the limit re-sets at midnight. You may use this data however you like but be aware that video streaming services (ie. Netflix, Stan, Foxtel, YouTube etc.) will gobble it up very quickly! There are DVDs and books for your entertainment.
