Black Butterfly is a special resort-style vacation retreat and newly build in 2022. The house sits on a 2.5 acres land with many big and beautiful Joshua trees surrounding the property, the private pool and Jacuzzi are super beautiful and comfortable during all seasons. It perfectly satisfies families and friends gathering with high privacy.
The property is a modern desert retreat, situated in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood while maintaining the feeling of cool isolation whether indoor or outdoor. The decor is modern with Wabisabi style yet very comfortable. Restaurants, shops, and the National Park are all a short 15-minute drive away.
The property features a spacious kitchen for gourmet cooking, open layout living and dining area, it has 2 master bedrooms with two full bathrooms. You and your family/friends can enjoy the pools and nature with high privacy. Keep your vehicle out of the heat in the garage and stay cool under the shaded area. Our indoors has modern "G00gle" cooling system which always keeps the house comfortable in all seasons.

—Parking
There are two car garage for your parking, as well as spaces in front of the house.
—Oven
Please make sure to turn on the vent while using the oven, otherwise the carbon alarm will ring.
—Smart TV
We have a smart TV in the house, please connect it with your account.
—Air Conditioning
We provide central air conditioning in the house which has smart control and easy to operate.
—Jacuzzi
Please shower before use.Please notice us if you need Spa heating at least one day before your arrival. The heating fee is $60 per day.
Please don’t put any liquid/solid soap into it, any extra cost occurring will be charged. The guests will take all liability and responsibility for your own safety.
—Pool
Anyone under 18 needs his/her parent’s present while swimming or near the pool for safety reasons. No diving and no glass near the pool.. The guests will take full liability and responsibility for your own and your guests safety.
*Please note that the pool service is every Tuesday or Friday.
—Pets
We love pets, however, considering the allergies among some of the guests, we have $60 special cleaning fee for pets. You are required to disclose before booking.
—Parties or Events or Extra Guest
We do not allow guests to throw parties or events at our property.
Please be kindly noticed that all extra guests should be approved by host before arrival and they will need to leave the property by 9pm per County’s STR Reinforcement Code. Any unapproved visitors will be charge $200 per person according to the House Rules in the listing. Please feel free to contact us if any questions.
—Dishes
Please load the dishwasher prior to checking out if you have used any dishes. Be sure to remove excess food into the trash. We will run the dishwasher once you’ve completed your stay.
—Broken Items
We understand that accidents happen, if anything breaks down - even if it's your fault - let us know so we can send someone to fix it or replace it for you and future guests (contact information attached above in the emergency contact section).
Please leave the house in a neat and tidy condition. Thank you for your consideration.
—Reservation change Policy:
In order to provide the best service to all our guests and smooth process of requests, all date changes have to be made at least 30 days prior to check-in date. Each reservation only allows one change request. All change requests are for the same property only. Switching priorities is not allowed. We thank you for your understanding and support.
—Plumbing
All houses in Joshua Tree are on a Septic Tank system. For this reason nothing can be flushed down the toilet except toilet paper. Following these guidelines will avoid problems with the plumbing. If it is determined that the pipes have been clogged due to misuse, a $200 repair fee will be charged. Thank you for your cooperation.
—Please let us know if there are any serious stains on the furniture or floors, or if there is damage to anything and we will try our best to fix it ASAP.
—Security Camera
According to the requirements from Insurance Company, there are security cameras facing the house entrance.
—Film/Video and Photos
Our property is a beautiful place to shoot photos and videos, we welcome you to tag us on IG at #somewhere_joshuatree. Any shoots with any commercial purposes are priced at a different rate and must be cleared with us in advance of your stay. If you are in doubt, inquire first. We will charge $5000 per violation, plus production fee up to $575/hour.
—No-Smoking
Smoking (including E-Cig) is not allowed in the property or within 15 feet exterior door. Please dispose of cigarettes into a plastic bag and put it in the outdoor trash can. If above is not maintained, we will charge $100 special cleaning fee. Please smoke outside and dispose of your cigarettes in the trash. I appreciate your cooperation!
—Checking Out
Please check out by 11:00AM. Please checking out by this time to ensure that we have enough time to clean the property and get it ready for our next guest. For any late check out, we will reserve the right to charge $200 if exceed 20 minutes and half day rate if exceed one hour.
