Cowboy Heaven Cabins boast premier ski in ski out access to Big Sky Resort. These ski in ski out trails are some of the best on the mountain and are suitable for all levels. To help plan your trip, the Iron Horse and Pony Express lifts at Moonlight typically open early to mid-December. There is no ski access until the lifts open or after lifts close.
Ski Out:
Step off the back deck onto the groomed Gambler access run. Veer left and then immediately hang a right to ski through the tunnel below. This run easily connects with the Powder River ski run, which will take you to the Ironhorse Chair Lift.
Ski In:
From the top Madison 8 Lift, ski down Lazy Jack to the intersection of Cinnabar and Powder River. Stay straight on Powder River continuing through the ski tunnel. Take your first right and travel over the skier bridge, your home will be the 5th house on the right. Alternatively, you can easily ski home on Powder River and hug the left hand side of the run which swiftly takes you back to your home found at the end of Bandit Way Road.
