Today is the day and it is definitely better than yesterday. “How true!” thought Pinkie Flamingo as she entered this newly renovated 2023 beach rental in The Villages in Blue Mountain Beach. As is often the case in the nature of her business, Pinkie Flamingo frequently found herself “makin' her way along 30A”. The famous coastal highway with an attitude all its own, follows the curves of the Florida coast as it meanders assuredly through the many numerous communities that call it home. Always on the look-out for perfect little nests she can share with all of her friends, Pinkie had heard of a fabulous new possibility and was excited to check it out for herself. She was not disappointed and you will not be either...
Professionally decorated and elegantly appointed, the contemporary coastal vibe was all at once inviting and Pinkie looked around. Featuring an earthy palette of beiges, greys and whites with all new modern furnishings and décor…the open first floor living space combined entertainment, dining and cooking in very high style. “Well I did not see this house before, but I am 100% convinced this is truly better than yesterday!”
Cool coastal flooring set the stage so the transitional style décor can do its thing throughout this 4 bedroom / 3.5 bath home. The sleek modern kitchen with Quartz counters, all new stainless appliances and fully stocked utensils seemed to be just waiting for a gourmet chef to put it to the test. For a minute, Pinkie was tempted to whip up a quick shrimp scampi but decided to continue her tour instead. It was impossible not to notice the great flow between the kitchen, dining and living areas. The dining table could seat 6 plus 2 more at the counter. Images of fun dinner parties immediately began forming in Pinkie's head. Out back the cozy covered sitting area looked to be a great hang-out spot and the propane grill stood ready to fire up some vacation BBQ's. Noting a powder room and full-size brand new washer and dryer on the first floor, it was time to head up stairs.
The second floor featured the King Master suite with attached bathroom. The elongated free-standing soaker tub looked inviting and Pinkie hopped in. Double vanity sinks and a walk-in shower made this the perfect spa retreat. A second King Guest room and hall bathroom with walk-in shower made the second floor complete. On to level three where an open loft gathering spot could not have been better equipped for the party…sink, beverage center and mini fridge all brand new! A sectional sofa offered 2 additional sleep spots and the game table was perfect for a friendly game of cards. The third King guest bedroom was nicely appointed and the bunk room with 2 sets of twin bunks shared the full hall bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Spacious, airy and fresh…enjoy the convenience of this location in the popular Blue Mountain Beach. Area attractions are all within reach…many even within walking distance. Named after the plentiful Blue Lupine flower that blankets the dunes here, this community is also the point of highest elevation in the county at a whopping 65 ft! Discover local eateries like Johnny McTighe's Irish Pub or Redd's Fueling Station... there's a dining experience for everyone in the group to be sure. Not often found in nature, a coastal lake affords untold opportunities for recreation along with bird-watching and wildlife-viewing. Paddleboard or canoe through nearby Big Redfish Lake and enjoy the quiet beauty of this peaceful setting. Hike or bike along the 19 miles of The Timpoochee Trail and top of your day with a double scoop of delicious ice cream at The Blue Mountain Creamery.
