There is no better time to enjoy The Country experience. Whether for a quiet Romantic weekend, a family escape or a gathering with friends. Indoors or out, you will be struck by the peacefulness and the huge sky. A place to come & enjoy 12 months of the year. "The Country" sits on a one acre mature treed lot in Deer Park only 1 hour from downtown St. John's. Designed for fun and with a family in mind. The large porch and main bathroom has plenty of room. Full bathroom w/ a walk-in glass shower. Open concept with a living area with wood burning fireplace and plenty of sitting space. We have a Wall-mounted TV - for movies only and over 200 different movies available. WIFI. The kitchen is galley style with a table that comfortably sits 8. The first bedroom has a queen sized bed and a single mattress. There is a TV Monitor and a huge assortment of children's movies, games & crafts. The middle bedroom has a queen-sized bed, TV for movies. There is also a DVD player. Plenty of board games that will provide fun for the whole family. The master bedroom and has its own en-suite bathroom with shower/bathtub. The room has a queen-sized brass bed and two night tables and a library. Outside the patio door there is a large deck and a BBQ/picnic table. The deck overlooks Hawco's Pond. Large lower deck, 16 ft floating dock and concrete boat launch. We also have a canoe on the property for guests to use with plenty of life jackets. In the summer, you will be treated to amazing sunsets as the sun sets directly across the pond from the back deck. Pet-friendly environment. Pets allowed for $25/stay. Lots of parking on property Gordon is the main contact for the property. This reservation has a Firm cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to the check in date. A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 30 to 59 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 30 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request. Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, pets permitted. Because of Pandemic, we are only allowed to accept bookings from guests who are residents of Newfoundland and Labrador - unless you are in an exempt category.
