Family fun at its best. You are steps away from West Bay Beach, scuba diving, restaurants, and activities of all kinds.
Casa Tortuga Bucedore (Home of the Diving Turtle) features spectacular views, inground pool, and white sand beach. It is a private Condo on the first floor that is steps away from the best beach on Roatan (West Bay) and a water taxi to West End.
Their are only 6 units in this condo. We are the middle unit on the bottom floor. It's a single story floor plan with steps into the condo from the parking and off the deck to the beach.
West Bay Beach is Roatan's most popular stretch of sand...which can mean it gets pretty busy some days! But don't worry, Bayside Villa 2B is located just at the edge of the beach, away from the crowds. Look for the island's parrots, find the Roatan Brewery, go to Gumbalimba Park, and Snorkel at the far end of West Bay Beach.

Summary: We stayed at this property for the month of March. This is our 3rd time staying in this condo complex. It is a perfect location. The condo was clean, fully stocked with everything we needed. The air conditioning worked great, when we needed it. We were able to cook some meals, but also enjoyed eating out. The water taxi was easy to get from the Las Rocas dock right next door. John, the property manager, was very responsive when we had a few minor glitches. Julio, who takes care of the grounds is wonderful. Our one disappointment was the condition of the reefs . It is significantly more damaged from 5 years ago, as well as 2 years ago. We were still able to enjoy snorkels in front of the condo (being careful when crossing over boat traffic), as well as at the end of West Bay. We also snorkeled with the dive boat from Las Rocas. We hope to come again to enjoy this wonderful island and this condo.
