Now back to describing our great place! Location, Location, Location!!! Demere Landing Condominiums, off Demere Road, is 1/2 of a mile from the beach and only 2 blocks behind the famous and historic King and Prince Resort. Built in 2000, this complex is perfectly situated for easy access to both the beach and village. Whether it is the 2 min golf cart ride, five-minute bike ride, or less than a 15-minute walk, getting to the beach or village is a breeze!!!
The complex is made up of nine buildings nestled among lots of green space and a lovely pond right behind Demere Park, where there are ball fields, a playground, a butterfly garden, and a skate park. The complex pool is just across the parking lot from our beautiful condo. We offer our garage with parking for one car. Parking is located right outside the door of our two-story condo. We do ask that our guests bring one car if possible, as parking is sometimes in demand, especially during the summer months and holidays. We are just minutes from it all!! Rent a bike and enjoy. We do have a few bikes for you to use in the garage, though.
The beachy three-bedroom, 2.5 bath, almost 1600 square foot condo has the perfect layout. The first floor has a half bath, a kitchen, and a dining area that opens up to the living area, with sliders onto a cute balcony that overlooks more green space. There is also a huge walk-in pantry off the kitchen area.
The second floor boasts a huge master suite with a queen bed, a sitting area, a walk-in closet, and a private bath. There are also two more bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen-size bed, and one with two twin beds. Both rooms have double closets and share a full bath in the hall. Across from the hall bath is a laundry closet. There is also a linen closet and a huge hall closet for all your storage needs.
All linens and towels are included in your stay. We have beach towels, chairs, a beach tote and blanket, toys, and even a cooler waiting for you! There is a pack-and-play, a beach wagon, and a portable highchair, too!! Just bring your suitcase and unpack for the best vacation ever!! You might not even need to buy groceries as we have dozens of the best restaurants just minutes away, including Fiddlers and Barrier Island Brewing. The ever-popular and local favorite, Crabdaddy's and Crab Trap are within walking distance. So rent a bike, slip on your flip flops, be prepared to hit the beach, or eat your way through the village, and dance the night away at one of the dozens of places that have live music until 11 pm many nights a week. We have you covered!! You are in for a real treat. There is something for both the young and old here on St Simons!
The Village has a welcome center, lighthouse museum, dozens of restaurants and shops, Neptune Splash Park, a putt-putt course, picnic areas, a theater, the pier, and so much more! And all of this is about a mile down the street!!
