Positive: Positive aspects were the easy access to tram and bus, the small table outside the accommodation, and the convenient location close to shops and supermarkets.
Negative: At first glance, the accommodation seemed satisfactory, but during our 28-night stay we faced several difficulties. Sleep comfort: The pillows were large and uncomfortable (similar to sofa back pillows). Despite our request for replacement, we were given only one small pillow while we were two people, and there was no further effort to assist us. We were forced to buy our own pillows, which we left there due to lack of space in our luggage. Kitchen: There was no freezer, which was very inconvenient for such a long stay since we could not store ice or ice cream. The cookware was insufficient and of poor quality (pots sticking with anything cooked, no baking tray for the oven). When we requested a tray, the answer was simply “there isn’t one.” We had to buy our own. Air conditioning: The air conditioning clearly needed cleaning, as it caused throat irritation and even an allergy, which disappeared once I stopped using it. Environment/Noise: There was often a smell of smoke coming through the ventilation, even with closed doors. The soundproofing was poor and we could clearly hear the tenants above us (furniture dragging, footsteps). Although the accommodation informed them, the disturbance continued. Fire alarm: It was activated twice due to other rooms’ negligence. The first time it rang for half an hour, interrupting my online work meeting, with no easy way to communicate with anyone. The second time I managed to solve the issue myself. Very disturbing and poorly organized system. Financial terms: They request an excessive deposit of €200 or alternatively a non-refundable €25 fee, which I find unreasonable. Overall: The initial impression was positive, but our stay was accompanied by significant issues regarding comfort, equipment, and service. I would not recommend it for long-term stays.
