The same on the left. The main level fireplaces are wood burning. The fireplace downstairs by the pool table is turned on by pushing the button on the wall. DIRECTIONS- Coming from Hiawassee, heading East on Hwy 76, go 1 mile past the intersection of 76 and 75/17. After you pass mile marker 13 cross over the Hiawassee River bridge and turn left onto Bear Meat Village. Go 3/10 of a mile and turn left only Burke Ferguson Trail. Continue on Burke Ferguson Tr, bearing left. Go 1/10 of a mile to where the road splits (you'll see a large sign on your right that says "Pooh Corner"). The road to the left is Bend of the River. Continue 2/10 of a mile to the property at the end of the road on the left. You will see our sign as you enter. Google maps will not be able to locate Bend of the River or will take you to the wrong address but you can put in Burke Ferguson Trail which will take you to where you bear left at Pooh Corner onto Bend of the River. All trash must be in bags. When checking out... 1) Leave used towels in the tub or shower. 2) Used beds should be left unmade. 3) Wash dishes, or if applicable, load dishes in dishwasher and turn on. 4) Adjust temp settings. AC to 78* in summer. HEAT to 60* in winter. 5) Put all trash in bags in can outside. 6) Remove any opened food items from the frig. 7) If you moved any furniture, inside or outside, put it back. 8) Turn off lights, ceiling fans, TV... 9) Make sure all doors are locked and key is returned where you got it.
